I remember struggling to get out of bed without feeling breathless. Walking up the stairs felt like climbing a mountain. I avoided mirrors. I avoided people. I became a shadow of who I used to be. I was overwhelmed and ashamed, and even though I wanted to change, I failed repeatedly.
It wasn’t because I didn’t try. I did. I followed diets, bought workout plans, and promised myself I’d stick to them. But the truth is—I wasn’t mentally ready. My mindset wasn’t aligned with my goals, and I didn’t believe in myself anymore.
